A hall for a brand - brand architecture in XXL
Sometimes a single stand is not enough. For Vodafone it was clear: the brand needs space - real space. So we didn't just build a stand, we brought an entire building with us.
The three-storey hall was set up eight times in succession with changing theme worlds.
Year after year, a fully-fledged building was erected on the CEBIT site in just a few days - thought through down to the smallest detail, both inside and out. From the façade design to the technical infrastructure to the lighting, furniture and decoration - everything from a single source.
While the tubular shape of the hall appears deliberately reduced and technical on the outside, a new world opens up on the inside, such as an urban jungle of meter-high bamboo poles, atmospheric lounges, adventure zones and action areas - carefully staged down to the last detail.
Some of the bamboo poles still stand in our office today - as a visible reminder of a project that went far beyond classic trade fair architecture and as proof of what is possible when architecture and brand staging go hand in hand.
